Murrons blog for this weekend-
This weekend has been one of the best of our summer so far. 3 days dancing in a row all outside in some pretty hot hot weather. It's hard dancing your very best in such heat but great for building my stamina and determination (I'm really very stubborn)
On Saturday me and my sister was dancing at Alva highland games. It was really hot but great fun. I got 1st in my hornpipe in the 11 years group (I was only 10 year old in the group) and other great placings too.
Sunday we went up to Monifieth for a brand new competition this year at the medieval fair.
It was really good and I won the 11 years and under group and also the overall premier dancer of the day.
Today we were at Burntisland games and I won the 10 years and under group and also the Fife hornpipe Cup for the 2nd year running.
The Highland games are some of my favourite in dancing as we get to go so many different places and we have loads of fun with friends during and afterwards.
This month my little sister has joined me in premier and I really enjoy helping her go over dances before she does them, she is doing really well considering she is only 7.
We have a few more to go yet before the end of this year's games and I will be finishing off in style at Braemar Highland gathering as I was accepted there to dance in front of royalty and I can't wait.
