What a month July has been.
.
Started off with a trip to Canada to compete in the ScotDance Canadian Championship. Bit of a long journey to get there having to spend an unplanned night in Montreal but got there eventually. It was a fab competition, a very busy time but lots of fun. I did really well winning the Highland Competition and being runner up in the Canadian Championship. I won a really nice blue trophy and a beautiful seaside themed bowl and got some really fab medals.

Got back from Canada on the Wednesday and travelled to Corby on Friday. As always I had a great weekend down in Corby. This year for the first time there was a premiership at the gathering and I was runner up in this. On the Sunday I won the All England Championship. On the Wednesday after Corby I then travelled to Las Vegas to take part in the USIR Championship. Once again we had a bit of a longer than planned journey but after about a 12 hour delay made it to the hotel. Friday was Premiership day. It was great to dance on such a big stage. I was lucky enough to win this and received a stunning thistle picture. We spent the rest of the day in the pool and having fun with the other dancers.
Saturday was shopping and more sunbathing lol.

Sunday was Championship time and managed to be runner up and was awarded a lovely crystal vase which was really heavy to try and bring back on the plane lol.
We then had a few days taking in the sights on the Las Vegas strip which was absolutely amazing I loved it!!!
.
I got back home on Thursday morning and went to a workshop at the SDTA studios which was really good. Saturday we travelled to Inverness to take part in the City of Inverness Championship. I won the Championship and the National trophy.

July has been amazing I am so lucky to have had these opportunities thanks to my mum and dad and a fab dance teacher.

Looking forward to working hard and taking part in lots of competitions in August.
