Introducing The Highland Dancer® A Wee Good Luck Charm
There’s something lovely about the little things dancers carry with them — the lucky pin, the special keyring, the gift from a dance friend or that tiny keepsake that somehow ends up travelling to every competition.
So we thought it was time to create our own.
Meet A Wee Good Luck Charm, a tiny pair of Highland dance shoes designed exclusively by The Highland Dancer® and finished with our own HD branding.
A little idea, made especially for Highland dancers
We wanted the charm to actually feel like ours.
Rather than simply finding a dance shoe charm and adding it to the shop, we designed our own miniature Highland dance shoes with the HD mark built into the design.
They’re small, simple and unmistakably Highland Dancer.
Each charm comes with a lobster clasp, so it can be clipped onto a dance bag, purse, zip, keyring or wherever your dancer chooses to keep their little bit of luck.
And, of course, we had to give it a proper Highland Dancer presentation too.
Each one comes on its own A Wee Good Luck Charm keepsake card with our words:

For all those little dancing moments
We can see these being given before a first competition, tucked into a card before an exam, handed to a dancer heading off to a championship or given by one dance friend to another.
They could be a little “You’ve got this!”, a congratulations, a birthday extra or simply something a dancer chooses for themselves.
Because sometimes it doesn't need to be a big present.

Made for the Highland dance community
We’ve kept them at £5.95 with FREE UK postage, so they can be an affordable little gift that can be sent directly to a dancer.
For our international Highland dance families, the charms can also be added to a larger Highland Dancer® order to make the most of international shipping.
We’re also making them available for dance schools and teachers in larger quantities. We think they could make lovely little gifts for pupils at exams, competitions, displays, Christmas, prizegivings or special dance-school occasions.
