Happy Yearversarry to Me!
Just a super quick blog entry today. Yesterday marked a year since I’ve been blogging for “The Highland Dancer”. How exciting. Hopefully I’ll have a lot more blogs to come, lots of content and will definitely get my dancing family more involved too.
Also, a huge well done to everyone at Cowal. My Instagram was full of pictures of people with their trophies and medals. Regardless of results, everyone had happy faces and looked chuffed to have just been part of it all. Maybe once I feel that I could attend and do well, I’ll go.
This weekend seen me and a few dancers from our dance school, doing a local dancing display. I quite like doing the displays, nice and relaxed, no competitiveness- just fun. I also attended Abernethy Games and came away with good results, which I was delighted with for my first competition after injuring my ankle (which is still soooo sore).
Is everyone happy to be back to school? I actually was dying to get back to school and catch up with my friends. It’s my last year of Primary School and I am hoping to be Head Girl this year- so everyone keep your fingers crossed for me please!
Good luck to everyone who has competitions coming up, my next isn’t for a couple of weeks and is in The Isle of Skye, where my Mum is from.
Lots of love
