Hey there! I’m Elizabeth and I’m so excited to be a Brand Ambassador for HD in Australia. I have been a Brand Ambassador for a while now but with all the excitement of the NEW Ambassador search I was held back to be showcased as part of the team so there was no confusion as to who was who.
You might think I should be saying “G’day” but that is really only something that old people say, or people on shows like Neighbours or Home&Away!
But, a bit about me - I’m 13 and I’ve been dancing since I was 8. I used to play netball but I always loved dancing. I wanted to learn Irish dancing but my mum talked to someone who said I should look at Highland Dance. And she knew a really good teacher in my area.
As soon as I saw a YouTube video of The Fling, it was all I wanted to do. I went to my first highland dancing class and fell in love with it!
I was too shy to join in the first time I went to watch the class. My mum wasn’t sure if I would ever go back. But the next week I joined in and I haven’t looked back!
I started dancing and then began competing not long after. We all do our exams every year, which is not so much fun! Last year I completed Grade 4. And I also qualified for dancing in the Premier section.
