Hello, my name is Amelia and I’m 9 years old. I live in Dunoon which is well known for hosting Cowal Highland Gathering, home of the World Championships.
I’ve been dancing since I was born as my mum is Katrina Martin and she’s a highland dancing teacher. Although my mum helps me practice, I attend Team MacNeil with Fiona Macneil, and travel to Paisley for my lessons (or zoom thanks to covid)!
One of my favourite dancing memories was when I attended the dancing competition in Disneyland Paris. Not only did I get gold but got to meet all the Disney characters.
My favourite colour is blue and (at the moment) I wear the Dress Royal McRae of Conchra.
I love dancing and looking forward to achieving my new goals and achievements and travelling around the country for competitions;
(and hopefully the world one day)!
