My first blog:
Hey everyone, today I am going to tell you about my amazing little journey I have had over the last couple of days at the International festival of dance. I took part in the Competitions and Championships which were held in Musselburgh.
It all started off on Thursday the 8th of August where I took part in the Nationals competition, I love doing national dances as I find them really fun!
In the national competition I won 1st overall in the 14yrs Premier!
Then it was onto day 2 which was Friday the 9th of August, where I took part in the East of Scotland Championship.
I marvellously got 3rd overall in under 16yrs Championship and qualifed as Lothian Rep for Oban. I was super happy and over the moon.
Moving on to the final day, day 3 which was Sunday the 11th of August.
It was the Open British Championship!
The standard that day was just amazing and getting the chance to watch some Champions from over the world was just phenomenal!
At the end of the Championship I managed to get 6th overall making it into the line up in the 14yrs.
Then onto the afternoon it was Nationals where I got 3rd overall in the 14yrs.
I then achieved the dancer from the region of Midlothian with the most points over the festival!
I had a great time dancing at the International festival of dance over the past few days and making lots of new friends from around the world.
